How to be focused towards career growth?

I know that my knowledge is not enough to go the next level in my career yet, i want to study, upskill but somehow i always put it in sideline thinking that everything is fine , i am getting salary, work at company is also going etc.

At the start of every weekend i make my mind to start studying, be consistent, then again hets distracted to webseries/movies, chilling/sleeping. Am i not cut out to upskill and feel this guilt of wasting my time?

You need to decide because only you can do, or you can involve someone also who is also want to upskill/study.

You are not alone buddy. Procrastination is most likely what is holding you back.

A few days ago I saw something which helped me, it might help you as well

Context: I have been suffering from procrastination for a long time now, it affected my career growth, mental health, day to day life everything.

What I saw: In our mind we make a big deal out of things eg: if I do x I will get y, if I complete this course I might become good at this skill which might lead to my promotion etc. The first thing you have to do is not make a big deal out of anything, let’s say you want to start a course trick your mind into believing that this course is not that big of a deal it is not going to affect anything etc. Second what you should do is start small again taking the example of a course, just tell your brain that today I will just read the titles of videos in this course nothing else. Or tell your brain that we are only going to watch 30 seconds from this course right now. It’s like inertia

Not sure how good my explanation was😄

Well explained bro! Overthinking and procastination makes you quite stressed about things. I will surely try to keep my body and mind at motion to learning!!
