I am a btech fresher so I am interested in being a product manager/ project manager I have no idea how and where to start. I went through a few youtube videos they suggested me doing a php certification. But yet I am confused so if any product managers or project managers come across this post do share your insights so it could be helpful. 🙂

You should start by learning Agile, Scrum, and product lifecycle basics. You can also pursue certifications like CAPM or CSPO. Develop communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Participate in projects or hackathons.

Breaking into product management as a fresher is possible with the right skills. A strong PM makes data-driven decisions, so learning data analytics, SQL, A/B testing, and BI tools will set you apart.

Start by understanding product lifecycle, Agile, and user psychology, then build technical and analytical skills like Python and business intelligence. These will help you analyze user behavior and improve products effectively.

Many PMs today have a background in data science—it’s a game-changer. If you want to learn these skills, join the iSkills WhatsApp group, where experts share insights on data and product management. https://chat.whatsapp.com/B6weknl7133BQXjPva0pgB
