How to ask new employer to delay joining?

My current notice period is 90 days and I have received a joining date of 60 days. How should I explain to HR to extend my joining by 30 more days and when should I inform them about the same?

Try finishing your handover as early as possible. This will give u an advantage. Once you are done with it, tell your manager that your offer joiming date has been shifted to 60 days instead of 90 days. Believe me, if you convince your mamager then HR will easily be convinced. Tell them that you do not hv any other option but to leave before that.
