How to ask current company to match the offer
How do i Ask my current company to match an offer I received from outside. I don’t want to leave the company if they match the offer. Also, I don’t want to give an impression that I intend to leave even after they match the offer as I’m actively looking out..
How do you do it if you have just joined a company and have not much proof of work to make a judgement on hike .

Just be straight up and quote an exact number to your current company that’d get you to stay. Let them know you don’t feel adequately compensated and how your work and ownership exceeds the benchmark for the role.
If your number is x, quote x + 10%
If the company would want you to stay, they’d match it or come up with a suitable reason premised on which you can decide. Don’t overthink on "how it’s gonna look", companies won’t care once before firing someone.
