How to approach Google team matching?

I received a call from the recruiter saying that I had cleared the interviews at Google and they'll be proceeding with Team Matching. They even sent me a JD.

I have 1.5 YOE in Data Science and ML and wanted to join a team that builds ML models at Google.

Problem is, the JD they send is an ML infrastructure role where my work will be to build capabilities to monitor their GPU infrastructure. I don't really want to work on this but feel I don't have a choice since I don't want to miss the offer.

As far as I know - in Google budget comes from a cost center.

Your cost center is the team that your recruiter has assigned to you.
And therefore, you HAVE to work in that team.
You can switch after 12-18 months tho.

IMO just take that job brother
