You can apply for comp off by searching apply compoff in infyme. Once it's approved by manager, that day you have to work for 9.25hr and then it will be credited to your account. You can use it within validity of 3months span.

It doesn’t happen like that , firstly we need to apply on duty for that day and then apply comp off

Anything is fine, but compoff must be applied on or before that date only. After that date is not allowed. So then if you work for 9.25hr like OD, then only you can avail.
