Trending @Cognizant; How this Utilization will be Calculated?
I have joined on 2nd aug 2022 , In March and Sep I was in bench ... Rest 30 months I have been working in a Billable project ... But I am not Promoted... When I asked my HR regarding this . She told that Utilization is less than 75% ... How is this possible... I have worked in billable project 30 months out of 32 months
Hi, Utilization % = Sum of Billed Hours divided by Sum of Available Hours
Just take 1 year window (Jan-Dec) not 30 months.
Secondly, if u don’t know your pas billed hours then go to timesheet history and make a note. And, your available hours shouldn’t account leaves, holidays.
Out of 9 hours per day , 1 hr is non billable.
And for the leaves you take per day 9 hrs is considered non-billable.
More the number of leaves you take your utilisation will be impacted.
