Promotions are tight this year. Budget cuts are real. If you're aiming for L7, you better have a stellar performance record. Don't hold your breath.

Promotions might only be happening till level 10. I have heard no promotion for level 9 and above in this cycle.
Chances of hike are also less this year as well for non promotees
