How the hell can one immigrate to US on a non immigration B1/B2 visa?
So many of my family members were denied a B2 visa with potential immigrant as the reason although they had genuine reason with strong ties to their home country.
How would you even pull that off? How would you secure a job? How would you secure an SSN?
Is it so easy to game the system in the so called “greatest country in the world”?
Honesty have no clue how it works?
Many illegal immigrants enter the US on B1/B2 visa, but never go back. They don't get SSN, but they generally work for cash jobs (at lower than market wages because of exploitation) that their employer doesn't show anywhere on paper, and continue to live in the US illegally for decades.
They typically find cash-jobs and housing within their own communities.
E.g. illegal immigrants from India in NYC area, will live in Indian communities in Jackson Heights or Journal Square, and will work for other Indian-owned businesses there.
Similarly, illegal immigrants from China in the NYC area, will live in Chinatown, and will work for Chinese-owned businesses there.
In many cases, these immigrants never even learn English properly, as they can get-by the rest of their lives in that community just by speaking Hindi/Gujarati, or Chinese respectively.
Over time, they can try to get legalized, by applying for citizenship under asylum etc., but that process can take decades to complete. During that time, they give birth to children in US, who are US citizens under birthright citizenship, and raise them as the next generation of US citizens.
So that's how it works. Hope that helps you understand better 😄
