What do u mean by safe? It starts with u first so what r u doing to keep urself safe? TCS is just like any other "Lala" company, when they dont need u , they will throw u out giving any reason or by doing whatever is required and as someone mentioned here layoff is a continous process in TCS, it is just that u dont hear it from the media bcuz Media ki rozi-roti bhi corporates se chaltee hai.

No company is safe in today's date in terms of job security or anything, the only thing safe is your ability to upskill yourself and learn things while keeping your fundamentals clear.
If u go to Bangalore RMG u will hear "drop resignation or go to the project we send" ( which not matching skillset at all)
