How’s your experience to ride a Non Karnataka registered vehicle ?

I am planning to get my scotty to Bangalore which I am not planning to registered in Karnataka, since the re-registering cost goes to around 25k right from getting NOC from my state and paying road tax and other RTO stuff. What do you folks suggest should be good? Is it safe to ride non KA registered vehicle after 11 months period? Or should I get it registered?

I have both my two wheeler and four wheeler, no issues at all yet. Even when the cops stopped me for the wrong parking/wrong way initially in Bangalore, they never bothered about the registration.

My brother rode an AP registered two wheeler for more than 3 yrs, never had any issues. We just assumed if you’re from the neighbouring states (TN,AP) you may get away with it - since Bangalore is pretty close by to both the borders. I might be wrong though.
