GrowthX was a game changer for me. I did my MBA from ISB 6 years ago and was feeling a bit stuck after my last job. GrowthX community is amazing, and so is their content but for me the biggest win was identify what i want to do next and it’s been really rewarding for me. P.S. The community is a savior when it comes to finding an answer to any work question.
I had the same doubt a few months back. The short answer is if you are not in a growth/marketing role or trying to actively transition to one it's not worth it.
You can better decide by doing an interview with them and maybe attend 1 demo day to decide yourself.
Don't get swayed by there marketing, decide if it adds value to you
Things I noticed was that the quality of people in new cohorts is worse when compared to older ones.
They will also ruin your LinkedIn feed if you start following some of them.
Do they teach real stuff or it’s just theory already available on the internet for free?
I did gx20 and had the most amazing humans in my cohort. Unsure if you did a bunch of breakout rooms and working sessions to explore cohort members. And honestly I have met a lot of members offline (i shuttle between mumbai and b'luru) and its one network that keeps me giving. but i can imagine you might have not found your people in the community.
I have gone through the course and can tell you that it is the community you sign up for - the courses are great for sure but what reforge doesn’t give is a living breathing ecosystem of people you can learn from - every single day. I sometimes still put questions on their slack and get such rich answers- it’s like they got my back, can’t say that for any community especially in India.

Go for Reforge instead of GrowthX.

reforge content is good - but just ask anyone who did it and applied anything to work. before i decided to join gx20 i spoke to a colleague who did reforge and her response was "reforge content is so ideal that you can not apply it in real world - also its far far away from indian scenarios"
I'm gonna say what I said in another thread: I was able to use what I had learned. I genuinely think the applicability is amazing. I’ve also done Reforge- content is def better at Reforge, but I found way more applicable stuff at GrowthX. And I can say I’m still getting ROI from the community.
The focus always remained on the fundamentals and not the hacks. I am able to apply all these concepts on a daily basis. What more to ask for?
