How real is LPG shortage in your city/area
There is no shortage at all. Our dhandhos think creating a shortage will allow them to sell in black market. We are a country that is corrupt from top to bottom.

There is no shortage at all. When it comes to domestic, we are getting next day delivery. In commercial, the delivery time has been increased to 3 days but that is not a big deal. The lines in GAIL gas stations for vehicles is still the same as before and I haven't seen any gas station closed. But the PG owners, restaurants and auto drivers have started milking the situation by stopping cooking of food, reducing menu items and increasing prices and asking extra fares respectively.
Just yesterday morning, my rapido auto driver asked for 100 percent more or double telling there is no fuel anywhere. Irony was on the way every fuel and gas station was open and queue was just like normal situation.
The restaurant near me is not able to cooking gas cylinder.
I don't think you can say that there is no shortage at all. The situation is definitely being blown out of proportion at the moment I agree. But if this keeps up for a few more weeks then we could definitely be in that kind of a scenario.

If it's not today, it won't be tomorrow unless people don't panic or start hoarding. Because Iran has already agreed to let Indian ships pass and also India has started buying from other countries with Indian refineries working with max capacity
Only delivery guys are panicked. They can't black market the cylinders because govt implements the delivery code from customers strictly now
Thats a myth… we have maid from nepal in Bangalore… some of them don’t have gas connection…. They have paid 2100 3 days back for a cylinder
Well we have gas pipes instead of cylinders at my place directly controlled by the govt on a meter, so no shortage really
Read the LPG Control order 2026. Domestic cylinder supplies won’t be impacted (for household use). Commercial LPG cylinder supplies have been restricted to 20%
In my city, Autorickshaws run on LPG and they are queuing up for hours outside filling stations (basically the regular petrol pumps), all the while incurring losses. They have a fixed tank capacity and hence don’t think they are capable of hoarding. If there is no shortage, why would this happen? Domestic LPG cylinders can be hoarded but not this.

I don't know your are saying ground reality or not but the shortage is real i don't because of Balck market or not but I'm struggling a lot from week to get cylinder i booked cylinder 10 days back and booking confirmed still unable to get it .
