If you want to get into marketing at top tier FMCG firms, MBA from Tier 1/2 campus would be the way as these companies hire regularly from those places.
While there isn't any strict restriction on the domain, but would absolutely love to break into tech and directly-related fields. MBA as a GEM is somewhat of an uphill task. But hey if that's what it takes, why not MBA?
First of all may I know what you mean by strategic marketing? if you can shed some light on that you may get better answers?
