How much you can save in usa

Has any of GRAPEVINERS been to USA or you know someone who went there for the masters got a good job repaid the education loan ,lived there for 8-10 years ,saved great money ( in INR) , made some good investments in India, returned back to home country with decent amount and now doing great here ??
