How much time does it take to initiate the resignation process in TCS
I sent my resignation email to HR last Monday (May 12). The HR acknowledged it the next day and we had a phone conversation on Wednesday, during which she assured me that the resignation process would be initiated and I would receive an update via email. However, I haven’t received any communication since then.
I followed up with a few emails, but there’s been no response. When I called her to check the status, her tone made it seem as though I was at fault for following up. She only said I would receive an update soon.
At this point, I’m unsure how to proceed. Is this kind of delay normal, or should I escalate the matter by speaking with my manager?

I dropped papers on 14th Feb, got my LWD within 24hrs and finally received the resignation acceptance on 11th March.
So, by this we can say that they will take time to provide you with the acceptance mail.
Hey, i would say talk to your manager, this is not only unusual but very weird to say the least. The resignation process is quite simple. The HR has to find your name in the employee master list and mark you as voluntary resignation, and that generates an automated email to you marking ur supervisor in cc.
If such a simple process isn't done by the HR, I'm not sure what the hell is he/she doing delaying it.
My manager said that they have informed the PMO, now it's the HR who will do these things. It's not pending from the manager side is what she's telling me.
I also resigned on Last Friday and received acknowledgement email on very that day but no any communication about LWD and even I am not sure whether resignation process initiated in the iTalent or not as I am unable to see any record raised there..what to do I am not sure
