To everyone here, be as fucking shameless as possible when putting your salary expectations - the highest possible otherwise there's a high chance you'll be shortchanged. Case in point a person I know got a call from an HR he was earning 6 LPA and the initial HR told him 11 is the max he can get. Cleared all rounds and told he's expecting 13-15 and got 14.5.

Imagine if he believed and stuck to 11 the HR would have shamelessly given him 11 when the acceptable band was much higher. No HR will be honest about their price range - eo state higher and get a good hike

My current is 8 with 2 yoe. And when I asked for 12 lpa, the hr told itโs too much for someone with 2 yrs of exp.

Start grabbing one offer at 10 lpa then go for higher - 15-16
