how much short tenure is too bad?

just curious what the community thinks?

i’ve heard that some tech startups (especially crypto ones) pay a lot but sometimes go bust within 6-7 months so often engineers have a short tenure on their resumes. also sometimes engineers just job hop.

i’ve also switched a company after 7-8 months as i didn’t like it. i’m curious how resumes are looked at! how short is too short? how many such experiences will establish a pattern?
