How much responsibility do you undertake in your home?

I don't contribute anything, but they don't need anything from me right now. I have an understanding with my parents that after my father retires, I'll take care of their healthcare, but their investments should cover their cost of living and everything else.

Not sure about how a wife or children of my own will affect this equation, but jo hoga dekha jaega.
