This may sound unrealistic but as soon as my salary hits the bank account, I invest 30% (10%MF & 20% Direct Equity). Now the amount left is used for the entire month even if sometimes I’m struggling to pay for my basic wants. But this habit from past 2 years have made my portfolio with a huge corpus that couldn’t have been possible with basic - 10% investment of your salary! Disadvantage being - less salary 😂
