I have 5 +years of experience as consultant My current CTC is 11 LPA. I have an offer with 16 lakhs. How much of a hike can I ask for during retention? To know both sides of retention and new org - positive and negative

Completely depends how badly your manager wants you
If they really need you they can match the offer you are holding

There is no such retention policy at this moment until and unless you are a critical resource. Also they will not offer you much, I suggest to stay only if they match the offer you have.

CG rarely attempts retention, so if they are doing you can expect 30% hike probably
