That's not coverage, it's the premium amount that you pay.. full base amount(5 lakhs) can be used for any person in dependents.

That’s the premium not coverage and the coverage is the whole sum assured which is shared among all members enrolled in the policy.

It’s a group medical cover shared between you and your family, baby is entitled to the entire insured amount.
