How much I shall ask for job switch from 9LPA
Worked as an NLP Engineer in 2 startups, LLM is easy game. Built chatbot platforms. Right now fine-tuning Llama models.
Zirp was anti-NLP as chatbots were not good enough.
How to start in this area, like please guide me from linear algebra and tell me what all should I study 🙏; I’d like to remain employed 5-10years down the line when LLMs take over some of our jobs.
Honestly the market is not perfect right now So just go with the flow and see what the market offers you If you find the combination of good work, stability, healthy environment and decent hike, just go for it
Don’t merely focus on the comp
Got the same salary. Market is not good. Applied for 120+ companies, got interviewed for 3. Job offer none. Worked on fine-tuning GPT, Bert and also in MLOps.
