How much ESOPs do you ask for when moving to a company at a different stage?

What ever number they say triple it. If they up their offer immediately , run... the business won't sustain for long.
If they stand ground , they might reconsider. Agree to the next offer.
If they say no immediately, then join them. Probably yocan encash your esop ithe future.
