People don't pay for experience alone, they pay for value, if you ace an interview and your current is very low they will even double your salary to keep you at exit barrier. One guy I hied 6 years ago had 3 years experience, his salary was miniscule in comparison to what that guy had to offer, he asked for standard 30% ( wtf is that standard 30% I don't know) anyway he asked fir that and I paid him 110% which was the market standard for his role if I would have paid him what he asked he would continue interviewing and i would have lost him to competition. Today 6 years later he is a team lead and we have him at exit barrier for his role and continues to rock like he did always, if he starts slacking for no good reason he will get booted out . People pay for value not for experience.
