How much can you save by paying rent using a credit card on Cred/PhonePe etc?

All of them seem to charge a 1%+ convenience fee . Is this still cheaper than paying through UPI? Which app is the best?

Unless u have premium card like Infinia, I doubt u can make much out of this category. There are many YT videos which will tell u best credit card for this category. So if u don’t have that, it’s better to go with UPI.

No, u need to upload Ur rent agreement and the money can be transferred only to the accou tof the landlord mentioned
