How much are you guys spending on groceries a month?

I 29F do the grocery shopping for my fiancé and I. I can tell he thinks I often spend too much on groceries but I don’t know a way around it. Everything is so expensive now it’s hard to be frugal if you want to eat healthy. Any tips? How much do you guys spend and how do you budget?

Depends on where you live actually. Tier 2 and 3 is much cheaper than tier 1 cities these days.

What does eating healthy involve? Everything organic would cost more. You can eat healthy without going for the labels.

This could also be a neuroticism. In ways he does not think so or care at all about the spend, but no way for you to convince yourself without explicitly asking him. Or he may not like what you purchase, but goes along cos it does not matter as much to him as it does to you.

don't skimp on items that you're going to eat.

don't be like people be earning 300k rupees monthly then buy low tier blended refined oils, instead of "pure unrefined oil" which might hardly cost ₹500 extra,

if you're cooking at home use better stuff than unhealthy stuff used at restaurants/outside.
