What are the reasons people get into affairs. Why do you guys spoil lifes of people associated with you? Recently saw a post by a guy on ambitionbox on this topic. How do you get sleep at night while doing such sinful acts?
Why sinfull?. Affairs are mutual. Sex is a human needs. When people spend 12-14 hrs a day in office and office related work. It's bound to happen. Some do it from natural POV. Some do it as quid pro quo.

It's bound to happen ? You have your partner at home to satisfy your needs. It's only bound to happen if you cant keep your pants up.
Very common, I was hit on by my colleague knowing very well that I was dating someone in the same office.
I just ran for my life. Never saw that person eye to eye again. I skipped office outings until I was moved to a different project. But sometimes you have to make the right call for yourself.

In my experience with the first company (small IT firm) many hires were young college graduates.
I too was. It was common in this office for people to have relationships since everyone was young and work hours were nightmarishly long. We would be at work until 10pm or so, especially the tech teams.
One such colleague of mine wanted to be with me, I denied a couple of times- he eventually settled to be my friend.
We were great friends and trusted quite a lot. During an office outing, this guy laced my drink and **ped me. I had no proof whatsoever to prove it. The company had no proper POSH policy or HRs to help, I was never able to report this guy.
In hindsight, I understand why parents are against women going to office parties and why you shouldn’t entirely trust anyone no matter what and who.

No matter how much work pressure is there, make sure you have enough sex with your partner if you are married so that both your and your's partner desire are satisfied fully. Also singles should focus on getting married in a year or 2 after getting job rather than casual hookups. This is just destroying everything and people are becoming more like animal these days.
