Trending @Infosys; How many years will it take from sr system engineer to Technology Analyst in Infosys and what is the hike %? Can anyone explain?
Once you reach 3 years of experience , you are eligible to get promoted but still it Depends upon your manager and budget of project and many more. I got early promotion to TA (around 2.6 years)but my colleague got after 3.8 years so everything is in your manager and management hand

I became SSE at 2.5 years, TA at 3.5 years and TL at 5.5 years. My rating for TA till TL was Outstanding for continuous 3 years, so they either had to promote me or send me onsite thus they promoted me and then I went onsite. So, you can now decide on how it works in Infy and yes management needs to support you.

You can expect a hike around 15%
From SE to TA , it takes 3yrs, so if it's been 2.9yr from SE, keep your manager informed about it to recommend you in slots for next quarter , generally they'll do automatically if you're visible , but it's better to let them know otherwise it'll get delayed.

It all depends on the candidate.. people get it in less than 2 yrs as well
