How many of you have met people again whom you thought you will never get to see them again

I want to know how many of you here have met people again for whom you thought that you were very much sure you will never meet them again.. it can be your relatives, close friends, ex-partners, colleagues, parents 💀

Plus it would be interesting of some people to share their experiences in comments. I will share mine too

You’re glad, you didn’t meet them again

I'll tell you a story of my own.

So before I get married, I had met my husband 10yrs ago. We were in a relationship. I was young, and stupid. At that time, I didn't understand that my friends were jealous of my relationship and they spoiled it. So we did breakup and didn't talk to each other for one year. In this one year I tried to hate him, not to hate him but then I understood that he never did anything wrong. He was always good. So even when my friends said not to meet him, I met. We spoke and clarified everything on what was the problem. Once we spoke everything was crystal clear and we never looked back. If we have a small dispute also, we sit and discuss and sort it out. Our relationship grew stronger and in the end we got married. We didn't even care what our family would think, so we did court marriage and then later had a small wedding ceremony.

We are happy 😀

Most of the relationships spoil because of friends and family pressure.... And sometimes because of miscommunication. If a person doesn't respect you during a fight, that person is not good for you.

Even when me and my husband fight, we never shout at each other. We disagree and try to make a point and at last one of us will understand their mistakes. Even I was wrong sometimes and I told him sorry....

There is never that only one person wins or looses. It's always a relationship that ends and relationship is the ones which wins or looses

Man, I hate friends like this. I truly believe this is what happened to me. In my case, everything about it just seemed so off and sudden. I'm glad you guys found your way back to each other.

Nope. A very close encounter though :

Was in a relationship with someone when in college. The girl was abroad and we had never met in person. We were together for 2.5ish years.

Then after 2 years finally we were only 200miles away instead of the 7000miles that we usually were and had everything planned out just right. But we still could not meet. So close yet so far. Nothing thereafter.

10 years later after school, I saw a Insta story from a girl of my class, out of curiosity I messaged her regarding the story and 5 months after that, we became the closest friends ever. And damn, I am glad I got to know her.
We both still laugh out of how randomly we became the closest friends.
