How long should you stay in TCS?

I have 10 years of experience including 2 years in TCS. I am Technical Lead in the project. However the kind of project assignments and work are not in-line with role. Also, I am facing hard time dealing with organisational politics which started from my management and rippling out in my each of the assignment even though I am technically very strong. My question is, should I stay in TCS since it is a secure option and I am in the phase of life where I have considerable personal commitments also. Or should I switch since the organisational politics is impacting my mental health and despite all the hard work that I am doing, it’s not getting highlighted but all I am receiving from management side is no support when needed. Any help or guidance will be much appreciated here.

Thank you.

This is the problem of almost every good skilled technical person in TCS due to the pathetic and very poor management nowadays.

It is not too late to leave TCS. If you feel you are technically strong, start attending now and leave before you lose all those technical skills.

But after a certain year of experience, there will be politics and pressure in every company. We have to learn how to handle it.

Prepare for state pcs exam age limit is 40 for UR. Also if you can sit 10-15 hours a day and complete task on time then why not study and crack a exam with good work life balance and will able to earn 100X more what you are earning today.

Which exams do you suggest? For government exams I generally see the age limit is 30-32 years max
