Trending @Infosys; How long it takes to reach 12 lpa
Hi, this is my 8th month in Infosys and I'm currently earning 8.9 with 8 as fixed and I've total 3.4 yrs of experience. I want to know how long it'll take to reach 12 lpa without getting any promotion
I will take next 4 yrs. If all went perfect.

It's not THAT easy as you plan.
Your current package is 8.9 LPA. Considering the best case scenario that you will get 8% hike each year, it will take at least 4 years to reach 12 LPA.
I don't think I would get 8% they won't give me commendable at all because I'm in a support project. My only hope is a promotion from jl4 to jl5 so that I could get 15% atleast one yr
You joined as lateral, means at that time mostly you have 2.5years of exp. And you got only ~9lpa. You have to ask more at that time. People getting atleast 11lpa at 2.2yrs of experience
You are just a switch away and mostly you will get 16-18lpa or more than that depends on how the interview goes. So forget about 12lpa. Focus on 18lpa 😁
