I would say if you complete 24 months, then increase visibility with senior managers and ADs as they are the ones who will push for your case. Higher visibility, higher chances of going to the front of the line.

In my case it took 24 months, but it depends on your manager. My Manager was good he gave me a promotion, and my friends had to wait 5-6 years for the same promotion.
