Trending @Infosys; How long does it take to go onsite in H1B and what's the procedure?
I have joined Infosys in November 2022 as a system's engineer. I am very interested in going to USA project so I got myself mapped into a USA project whose half team is on-site and other is offshore.I am part of offshore team. I want to go on-site. How long does it take for me to go on-site and what is procedure to apply?
Bhai 5 sal se infosys mai hai abhi tak onsite ka on bhi koi bola nahi kisi bhi project mai. Sirf boot licking wale hai favour hote hai in sab cheez mai. Be in good book of your manager and beg them.
For any company; when you are going onsite to a client location , it is a privilege and not a right. You are representing Infosys. So I guess you get my answer. If your main motive is to be at onsite , you have to work towards that and set your expectations in any discussion with your managers. USA is a lottery; but other locations can be worked out
Going onsite with an H1B can take 1-2 years. It depends on performance, project needs, and management decisions. You'll need visa nomination, client interviews, and management approval.
