Trending @Infosys; How long does it take to get an onsite opportunity?
I joined as a lateral and was working for the same client for 1 year.I expressed my interest in onsite to my lead and manager. They didn't guarantee anything, but I know there is a chance if not me someone will go.
So anyone who has got onsite opportunities, how long did it take for you??. In general for other people in your team.
Is it worth waiting 1 more year without any hikes. In a confusion whether to switch or stay one more year for onsite.
On-site In infy is not like old days where folks with 1 year experience were sent on-site. Now far more experienced people are waiting in queue to go. Considering your project is Belgium doing visa would be easy. There are two ways you can go quickly. Because of your performance the clients is pushing for your case . If client is pushing managers will agree. If you are a Critical resource and quit and give this condition they might agree. But if you are replaceable they won’t bother. Cause I am sure there are more tenured employees in your project would get preference first.
