How long does it take for HR to accept Resignation
I have submitted my papers on 7th of May, i have received resignation acknowledgement email, however still haven’t received any acceptance mail.
I have to provide this acceptance mail to the other company from which I am getting a offer
Also my notice period has started from 7th right?
What is stated in acknowlegement mail
It says that “this mail is a receipt of your resignation “ And proceeds to mention will receive acceptance mail will be received later subject to clearance
Keep on bugging the Hr then only they.
For me it took 60 days. To get that after multiple follow up.
You wont get acceptance mail now , you will receive probably last ten days of your NP
So what should I provide as proof of acceptance?
After acknowledgement mail, your manager will approve it and mostly they will do it a week after that it is pending with HR where they will fillout the exit formalities. I pinged my HR after a month of completion of notice period. She filled the exit formalities and I received my resignation confirmation mail .

Did you persuade the HR? Also did they consider the date of resignation email as start of Notice period?
