How long did it take for you to prepare for Google and crack a Senior Software Engineer(DEV) role ?

I see so many posts on LinkedIn about cracking a MAANG company. Instead of taking any shortcut on cracking the interview, I want to understand the slow and reliable process which you followed to crack your dream job. Especially, when you have a bag full of knowledge from 5+ years of development and the cut throat competition.

NOTE: I am not looking for the answers from college grads, who are already experts on DSA and are somewhat in a better state to crack such a big giant interview.
