How long can we be unallocated

Hi all i was on LWP for 2 months due to my family medical emergency. Now i have joined from march and i am unallocated. I am looking for domain change as a business analyst but hettong calls for my previous skillsets only. Ao for how long can i reject projects and be on bench?
