How long C3B can be in bench?
How many days are safe for a C3B to stay in bench? Being a manual tester it's very hard to find a project.
Yea ul be pushed to accept some project.. but its better to move to automation as ul get more calls and u can tell RMG that ur looking for better projects
Last year I was on the bench for 5 weeks. C3B. Wasn't getting suitable opportunities. After a month RMG starts to passively pressurize you. Considering the lack of opportunities, I kind of played it safe and got into a project which was not my first choice.
So if you are on the bench for 1+ months, advice would be to either get a job outside & switch (you may get early release), or upskill/relax your criteria and get into a project.
Pls upskill don't stay more time.
You can upskill as a functional consultant(domain specific) / test lead. Learn automation(selenium/ rpa) any. Stay relevant & updated.
I got into project in 1 week. No bench wait at all...
Get a project as soon as possible.
