Trending @Accenture; How long a person on bench is safe from being laid off?
I joined Accenture in November 2024 and I am yet to be staffed on a project. Everyone I see in my team is involved in a project but i am not. I have reached out to all managers and yesterday I texted the leadership as well. I am really worried that they may lay me off if I dont get onboarded to a project soon. Someone was also saying that we need 90% chargeability during the appraisal time. But how is it my fault if the managers are unable to get projects and onboard people to their projects. I am really stressed. Can anyone let me know if I may be let go?
Bench age is high right now in most of DU. it totally depends on atmosphere in ur DU. Go to office sit with L6 or higher. You’ll know the situation. In have seen people with more than 1.5 years om bench. U will be last one to get released if u havent rejected any offer or failed any technical interview rounds. Nov 2024 is nothing. Just 3 months.
