Why do people like Dukaan's founders receive funding so easily? Don't we have brilliant minds or promising startups in India, or is it the fault of short-sighted VCs who have money but lack vision?

Heard that the work environment is toxic and they are pivoting to a new revenue model. What's in store,

I’m thinking of applying to Hasura. Does any one know how they are doing financially? They seemed to have raised a lot of money , not sure how their revenues are doing.
