How is Unacademy as a company to work?

Getting interviewed there for a sr business role. They are diversifying into a Naukri space with their product- Nextlevel.

What’s your take on their work culture at leadership level and the focus on actual value creation?

If they pay well... i mean really well. For 2-3 years, sure why not. One can always quit if shit is about to hit the roof.

The company culture is terrible - Toxic

You’re expected to meet unrealistic expectations and targets

Can be layed off anytime - they’ve laid off about 50% of the workforce in past 2 years

Most of the senior management has quit - COO, CMO, VPs across almost all verticals

Would avoid if possible, it’s a complete shit show

Not worth it, stay away! High risk and no ROI

I really don’t like the way Gaurav works. Opened and closed different verticals like Graphy and whatnot like it’s nothing. I hope nextlevel doesn’t turn out the same. I have heard devs are always at their toes at Unacademy. Not sure about the business roles tho.
