How is the MBU-DW unit?
I recently joined TCS as a fresher and after the completion of my ILP I have been allocated to MBU-DW(will be renamed to AI.Cloud)unit. Does anyone have any idea about the unit?
That's the team working on some Gen AI stuff. Not sure if the team you get into will specifically work on it though, but it's a good bet that you will get to work on AI and related tech. Also, it's led by Ashok Krish, one of the coolest people you'll ever come across.
But the work the unit is currently involved in us mainly on SharePoint, Power Platform and D365
Yeah, so these are more bread and butter of the unit I believe. Check if they are also working on any pilots on Azure OpenAI Service. Cos I do know we are doing pilots on it for some clients
I'm part of MBU-DW. we mostly do is Power platform or Sharepoint. Sometimes React JS with SPFX also. now as mbu renamed to AI Cloud and as per seniors we got everything which are on cloud, like Google Sheet, Power Platform, etc.
But mostly MBU have support projects. you will hardly found development projects here. But MBU is bit better than any other units.
Yeah I wish they give us some good work after renaming it to AI Cloud
If its AI unit then consider urself lucky. And if its a new unit then initial years might be tough but it will reap benefits in the following years .. i believe ..
@EngicoBantai There is no AI related work in that unit. All the projects are into dynamics 365, power platform and sharepoint. All drag drop technologies.
I don't think these units really matter for associates, it's just a segregation based on the type of business tcs is providing services to. What matters is the tech you will be working on and the team you get assigned to
Well as far as I know the tech that they are currently working on are Power Platform, SharePoint Framework, SharePoint online
