People assume that you know marathi. Specially local people like sabzi wala, grocery, auto wala

Living in pune from last 3 years, yes they assume because that’s their local language but as soon as you start speaking in Hindi they shift to Hindi as well. Btw I am a North Indian and doesn’t speak Marathi.
