How is the job market for ux/ui or product designers?
Anybody here who have been interviewing for the design roles(mid level). I just wana know how is the market now. Are you getting calls? What's the rate of getting ghosted?
I tried LinkedIn and it didn’t work. My notice period got over and I didn’t get any calls whatsoever then I was suggested Naukri. After applying on naukri I got 2-3 calls a week on an average. And a few emails as well.
People told me job market is down and all that when I was leaving my job ( when you look for a new job you will always find people saying the job market down thing, at least I have observed it. I’d suggest just focus on your skills and interview preps and things eventually shall fall in place.
Listening and believing in job market down thing wasn’t gonna motivate me if anything would’ve kept thinking why put the effort when market itself is down and that was not going to be the best pusher for my job hunt.)
Don’t get too attached to an idea of joining a company after interviewing and you will be fine even if they ghost you.
