I've started cold emailing recently as direct apply or referrals were not working, its hard and takes a lot of time. But out of some 50 60 reach outs I've got 1 interview

Do you mean directly emailing to founders or company emails ?

LinkedIn connects, in mail, email to cto/recruiter/engineering managers etc. YCombinator also has some postings

Tough market for frontend. Try for fullstack roles. Consider lower than usual response since it’s holiday season
