How is it possible that a person(who is my friend) codes worse than me , talks worse than me gets 7.5 LPA as a fresher in Capgemini

and I'm getting only 5.5 LPA as an A4 analyst. And the funny part is that , I was there beside him when he was appearing in his virtual interview and was afraid that he was gonna fail the interview the way he answered. And in the coding test I helped him to get 80 % of test cases passed in 2nd question, whereas I scored 200% test cases passed. I don't understand and we're friends from first sem.. btw I'm happy for him, but I feel bad 😞 iykyk
