How is Dimensity
On a whim bought F16 6GB variant with Dimensity 6300. The salesman did upsell it saying it is good for basic usage + updates for six years.
Though after buying felt a bit concerned. Do you all think this chip can run fine for a couple of years?

It's good for basic usage. These specs doesn't matter for basic usages.. nor you gonna use it for 6 years anyway.
I used a 10k Redmi phone for 6 years without an issue. And had to switch since I broke the glass multiple times. Bought a premium phone & there's no visible gain for a basic minimal user like me.
Don't think too much over this, rather work on yourself.
