How is AI gonna change marketing?
I'm a marketer and I'm seeing sooooo many things changing and evolving. Not sure where marketing is headed and it makes me nervous?
One interview, 1000+ job opportunities
Take a 10-min AI interview to qualify for numerous real jobs auto-matched to your profile 🔑Copies, pitches, collaterals, or gtms can be done by AI, having said this we would still need m marketers but fewer than what we have now and this holds true for every job in this world

I wonder if AI can really help in much of marketing at the moment tho. The copy writing and strategy work at the moment is very mid at best

Think of it channel wise.
Google ads: It can create ad copies but I have never been able to use its copies as is. Always needs to be edited.
It can make campaign changes but that is just plain rules based automation. No role of AI there.
Meta: It can generate creatives but there again, I have not seen a single product that generated a video or image that i could use as is. Worst is that sometimes the generated image is almost good and you want it to edit a small part but it cant. It regenerates the image.
Email: Again, good first draft but needs to be edited.
In fact, what AI is doing is helping more people build products easily. More products means more requirement for marketing. So, a marketers demand is only going to increase.
It's natural to feel nervous with constant change in marketing. Focus on staying adaptable by learning new tools, keeping up with trends like AI, personalization, and data-driven marketing. Upskilling in analytics and digital strategies can help you stay ahead in the evolving landscape.
