Trending @Infosys; How infosys for long term career

How is infosys for aged employees?

As we grow old, productivity can't be same as young people.so will they hold them in less critical role ?

Or do they forcefully resign/terminate them once they aged?

Can anyone consider it for the last company till retirement?

Being part of infosys 11 years and continuing. As long as you are billable irrespective of designation, noone dare to touch you , unless you are bad performer. But, the more you gain the experience, the better leadership to know about you. It helps you to climb the ladder bit faster though lot of politics involved and played against you.

The reason is Defintely not. But I have seen lot if SPMs being fired of late. Because they were only doing people management and infosys ops work. Which an employee below them can also do if promoted . They were not billable. They had left development long back so could not help in any RFPs, neither were they smart enough/vocal enough to handle client visits , increase revenue. As you go up the expectations increase on aspects beyond your project . And if you are not and SMe not billable and none of above things are your strong suit and just working on PBS/ ALCOn and excel sheets you are just sitting on a time bomb.
